Me postulé en línea. Acudí a una entrevista en Vrbo (Austin, TX) en jul 2017

      Entrevista

"We promise we won't ghost you," were some of the final words I heard after leaving my in-person interview. I got a slight feeling that maybe that's what would actually happen. The interview occurred and I received an email from HR a couple weeks later that they'd hope to have feedback for me by the end of that week. No word. The job was removed from online the same day, hinting they had made a decision. I reached back to HR a week later to ask if they had made a decision and if they could let me know...no response. I kept checking back to Jobvite since HR had suddenly ghosted me. It wasn't until over a month after the in-person interview had occured that they finally put "Not Selected" on Jobvite. Wow, thanks for keeping me waiting rather than pulling the band-aid. They could have at least had the human decency to tell me I had been rejected. Did my interview suck? Well, all you have to do is tell me, "sorry, we found a better candidate." It surprises me such an established company is so unprofessional. Overall, not getting this job was a blessing in disguise. The salary would've been terrible and I was overqualified given my experience and degree.
