      Extremely unorganised, very adhoc interviews with very clear evidence that the interviewer didn't prepare much. The day before the interview I was still not given even the location of the company - not that I couldn't figure that out myself but very poor communication trail overall. The interviewee did not give any background prior to joining the interview what it might be about, and proceeds to explain how most people are sacked because they are just too weak to perform in that environment without addressing culture questions properly. After that in-person interview, I was waiting to see if they would ever reach out or communicate despite me not saying anything. And as expected, no communication. It's normal that the candidate should be proactive, but if the employer reached out and they should be as excited, organised and proactive as well.

      Similar to other reviews here, the interview process at Voy/Manual was poor, lacking in care or consideration, whilst feeling generally disorganised. I had 3 interviews; a 30-minute screening call, a 30-minute 'task' call two weeks later, and an hour long in-person 'task/problem solving' interview two weeks after that with two different team members. Overall my negative experiences are based on: - The process was entirely run by the hiring manager My only point of contact was the hiring manager who was often slow to respond. After the final interview I never heard from her again, and I didn't get the impression she cared about my experience. It was clear there was no People/HR oversight in running a great hiring process, and the hiring manager I interacted with did not seem trained in best in class hiring protocols or interested in the candidate experience. - Lack of process or organisation. I felt it was on me to chase for updates or to arrange an interview (e.g. on the second call I was told we'd move to the next stage, and had to chase after a week of silence]. Salary was never discussed, and the next steps for the interview process felt vague. - Little consideration for candidate experience. Ahead of the in-person interview, I was given no instructions on logistics, reasonable adjustments, what to expect, or who to meet. I am fine with this, but I recognised how stressful this would feel for many others. I asked the hiring manager if there was anything I could prep or think about ahead of time, and never heard back, simply turning up at their office and asking random people where to go. --- My time interviewing at Voy felt dismissive, inconsiderate, and poorly planned. The two individuals who interviewed me in person each spent a few minutes introducing themselves, before spending 25 minutes problem solving, leaving 2-3 minutes for questions or anything from my side, back to back. I was told to 'let myself out' of the building, after having been greeted by no-one. I'm sure sadly the experience is emblematic the culture at Voy, and I regret going as far as I did. To never hear back after the final interview is bad practise at best, and hurtful at worst. I'm only glad the poor candidate experience made me feel like I've dodged a bullet, and I'm writing this entirely for the benefit of other candidates! I don't expect or see any appetite from Voy to change.
