Interview process had 3 technical rounds, 1 manager and 1 HR round.
But I had a very bad experience with the HR team. Initially they conduct interview very smoothly. As we all know they will capture our salary expectations in the beginning of interview and then they proceed. I cleared all round of interviews and during the HR round I was promised with the certain compensation package which I was really satisfied but after 1 month they are saying we cannot provide the same package which they had communicated (no proper reason justified soo far, just compensate with a word "SORRY"). Later, they reduced my package drastically without appropriate reason, Which I have to agree for.
So, all interview process + HR round took me around 2 months and yet offer letter is in pending state. I trusted that this was a very best organisation but looking at the delay of releasing the offer letter and improper communication of the compensation and no proper validation for why they reduced the package soo much drastically is totally unprofessional, that too with a company like Volkswagen.
So, my suggestion, before anyone proceeds with interview and salary discussion make sure to take assurance for all the discussion you have. Else they do not process a right reason for us to justify.
