Worse Interview Experience! - As an SRE we focus on multiple areas of the entire application and infrastructure. Interview Process : The dumb interviewer suddenly started with random definitions of Java topic, I clearly said that I can debug and write code in Java/Python but definitions am not prepared for. Copied a question from random and asked me to solve after asking 2-3 questions. (Mentioned below) The program was lengthy and that too in Java which required full top to end to be written in an IDE, I started explaining the approach, but he straight away said he just need to code, after just 15 mins he lost his patience and asked to be quick as he had more to ask. Didnt even gave the time to get rid of a few errors and compile. (Guranteed that interviewer didn't had any clue or knew even how to write code) Then he again got few random questions from Python, Java (Memory management), SQL, Prometheus, Grafana as the questions didn't have any defined topic, he was just asking whatever came to his mind, even when the focus area of the interview was just Coding & Problem Solving. Simply at the end during feedback he just directly said I wasn't capable and was not of the defined standard. I just wonder interviewer like him how he went through Visa. In my 9+ years of experience I have never faced such a dumb interviewer. God bless Visa team forward.
