Applied to a DS entry position and was selected for a phone interview. Scheduled an interview for the next week. The recruiter was 40 mins late and called from Colombia. Apparently, Visa cannot afford to hire their own recruiters and has to outsource such an essential step to some cheap labor. Anyway, the interview was a complete disaster. The recruiter was robotic, asking some basic questions ("are you willing to relocate?"), and some very stupid ones, like "Why are you leaving your current employer?" even though my resume clearly stated I was a student still at that time. Some other questions required explanation, but the recruiter quickly cut me off without any respect. Complete disinterest in my answers and boring tone overall. Never got an invitation for the 2nd round. 10/10, would apply again /s.
