Visa is very unprofessional with their hiring. I applied for finance role and received a 1:1 interview. I interviewed in October and the told me they would update me within a few weeks. After two months, I reached out and HR told me "just a few more weeks". It is now April and I've heard nothing. I feel like it's one thing to not reply to an application. It's another to take up my time and not bother responding. Another experience I've had is that Visa hires candidates based on GPA with no regards to skillset. A peer of mine applied to a more technical role. She has programming experience and was extremely qualified. Didn't even get an interview. Instead they accepted another peer of mine who had a 3.9 GPA in my University's easiest major (not exaggerating). He has no programming experience or any technical skills. It seems like HR is just incompetent. They hire people who take easy classes and bump up their GPA's instead of hiring qualified candidates. Also their lack of professionalism left a very bad taste in my mouth.
