Was contacted by a recruiter about a data science opening. After initial phone screen, I took a hackerrank test. It wasn't too difficult but did have a lot of questions about the Big O, which is more software engineering than data science. The in-person interviews after were where it was really awkward. The interviewers didn't seem coached on what to ask or how to ask it; they seemed to make up their own questions and some didn't seem interested in talking to me at all. Last was an in-person interview with the team lead, which seemed more like a formality than a serious interview.
