The hiring process was fast only took 2 weeks. They were impressively fast on following up. So first you'll do the Online application. Be ready to be online for a while. It's a long application that's really more like a personality test. Then you'll receive an email for the Video interview where it's a one way interview and you get to answer a series of questions and you have a few seconds to answer. Then you'll receive an email for a phone interview and you'll need to choose when they can best call you. This is really more just to reiterate what you said on your video interview and a few more reminders on what to expect if hired. Then lastly the F2F interview where you are invited to the headquarters. First you do an ice breaker, then a briefing of what the job is, salary & benefits. Then finally a face to face interview with management. That's where my journey ended as I was not a match for the job.
Just be yourself. Research well on the company way before your F2F interview . They will definitely see right thru you if you're not fit for this job. Also helps if you're attractive and younger(cause this is a front line job after all!) on top of your work experience and how well you interview. So best of luck!

I applied on the Virgin America website to be a Guest Service Team Member in Boston I put in my application on July 10th and actually got an email back from them July 12th asking if I could attend an informational and interview session on July 14. So basically I heard back really quickly. Unfortunately I couldn't attend that specific one so they got back to me about a month later and asked me if I was available for August 16th, which I was.
As for the actual interview, we all met up at a hotel near the airport, signed in, and got in a big room for a presentation. I read a few reviews saying how there would be ice breakers and stuff but there wasn't anything. There were probably about 40 to 50 or so applicants in my afternoon session and they were only choosing 10.
After the information is given to you about the company (I suggest taking notes and jotting down names). They called me in to an interview and it was a 2 on 1 so no group interview for me. They ask you a few questions, I think I only got asked like 3 or 4 probably because I was talking so much, oops. It probably took about 15 minutes for the interview, so don't be worried if it feels too short. I only remember a few so i'll write those out.
Then they ask you to go back into the room and wait for them to call you out and tell you if you got the position or not. Thankfully I was lucky and I did, and I accepted. Then we did drug testing and background checks right at the hotel and after that you're free to go.

As a a Guest Service Teammate, weather is considered. Flexibility is important. Tell a time you were asked to work with some situations out of control (like weather problems)
