It was good with the VP and then some of the peers. The 3rd interview wasn't great. We didn't really connect, they didn't try to get to know me or anything. Good interviews happen when you get that interpersonal connection and that didn't happen with this person.

Virdee has to be one of the more unprofessional companies I have ever dealt with. I applied for their open CSM role and was contacted by the Founder to set up an interview. We set a date and time and unfortunately the morning of my dog passed away so I emailed asking if we could reschedule for later in the week. I received a reply that he was going to be out of town, but he copied someone else onto the email thread who would follow up with some dates and times they could speak with me. At close to 1:00AM that night this person followed up telling me they were free the following morning to talk, clearly not reading that I wouldn't be available until at least Thursday or Friday of that week and also giving me less than 12 hours notice for this call. I replied first thing in the morning again providing my availability without getting a response back and also sent another email that Friday checking in again to no avail as well. After roughly 10 days went by I followed up to get a status update and see if they wanted to schedule a time to speak to which I got a generic response that they were in the final stages with another candidate and would not be moving forward with me. No apologies for the disconnect in communications or anything of that nature. There's nothing like kicking a man while he's down and the blatant ghosting of me was uncalled for and very unprofessional. I don't care how busy you are, it takes all of two minutes to craft a quick email to either reschedule or tell me you aren't moving forward. To play the parent card, I am not mad, I am just very disappointed.
