Entrevista
The interview I had with Vionic was overall I would say a bizarre experience. The interview was scheduled at 1 PM and lasted until about 4 PM. I first met with the VP of Product who was very nice and we had a great conversation. The second person I met with was the manager of the Customer Service department who also was very nice. We also had an hour and a half conversation about the job and many other things. Looking back, a big red flag that I should have noticed was that the interviewer asked ZERO questions about my past work history, academic achievements, or my certificates. There weren't any questions at all regarding that and the overall flow of the conversation was casual (maybe a bit too casual as it felt like a conversation with a friend versus a job interview.) After the interview was over the interviewer told me to expect a written assignment to fill out to see how I would interact with customers. I was looking forward to it (I ended up having to email the recruiter to ask for it). After I answered the questions and sent back the assignment, I followed up with the customer service manager who told me she would get back to me "very soon." I said okay, no problem. I then waited a week and decided to follow up AGAIN to check up on my resume and she responded saying "she would get back to me early next week at the latest." I waited another week to follow up (I understand people get busy) but radio silence. Since that email saying she would get back to me a month ago, I haven't heard anything. Overall, this company left a great first impression but a terrible last impression. It doesn't take a simple canned email to simply tell me I didn't get the job, but please don't tell prospective employees that they will let you know as soon as possible and then just never give you an answer. It's disrespectful.
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Of course, this is disappointing to hear, and it has given me an opportunity to speak with a few people and review our interviewing process for this position. Since receiving your feedback we have been able to make changes to the process.

Met with Customer Service Manager and Director of Customer Service and Sales. The interview was held in the office as this was pre- COVID. The interview questions were specific to the very day duties for the position.
