A typical interview process for a marketing company that posted for the position of Communication Assistant but was discussing that everyone starts as a Brand Ambassador. Moved very quickly and unprofessionally. In the "final round" I let them know multiple times that I was evaluating a few offers elsewhere and the hiring manager said he would put my application on hold and hung up.

I applied for the position of Communications Assistant, and was told via text that my application had been approved- the email went right to my spam, I should've known better :( They invited me to an interview which was only a 5 minute prerecorded video. The next day they had me do a formal interview and that is how I found out this place is some kind of multi-level marketing scam. The interviewer said we would all be "Brand Ambassadors" and my role as CA was the same thing. He kept using the words "high rollers" to describe the rich people and yacht parties we would go to if we made it to a certain level. Total scam. Be careful.
