Entrevista
I applied online and within 2 days I got an email asking when I was available for a phone interview. I then spoke to a lovely woman in the head offices and she asked why I wanted to work for VS, what relevant work experience I had, what times in the week I was available, how I heard about the job opening, a little bit about myself etc. She then offered me a group interview in the coming week which I accepted. A week later I went to a separate venue as the store is yet to be opened. I wore a black chiffon top and dogtooth black and white trousers but in hindsight I would have worn all black definitely!! It allows them to visualise you better at the store. There were 8 girls there and we all first sat down and filled out availability forms. Then they told us a bit about the brand and the shop opening. We then split into 2 groups and had a task set to us and we're given a customer. All that our brief said was '2 guys are on holiday and want to buy gifts for their girlfriends'. Laid out in front of us were various VS items to choose from. We chose lightweight (luggage) and more non size dependent items (not bras if they didn't know their girlfriends size). We then presented what we had as a team to the interviewers. Then we had an individual sales task where they took stationary items out of a bag and we had to sell it to them. I had a helix ruler: I talked about how the brand is reliable how you could buy it in a set for Christmas. Try to say things that they could relate back to if you were selling a bra or panties. Then I had my one on one interview which I will explain in the questions section. Just be super bubbly and whatever you do don't be quiet!!

What would you say to a customer that said they were 'just browsing'?
Hiring managers prioritize your personality, availability, and customer service mindset, looking for candidates who are friendly, adaptable, reliable, and comfortable engaging with customers, rather than focusing heavily on prior experience or technical skills.
Very easy, first a phone call then meeting in person. Took a while to be seen in person even after the scheduled meeting time, they had me just kind of stand in a corner for a while waiting for someone to become available.
