The entire panel wore shorts and t-shirts. Their ice breaker questions only got the interview off to an awkward start. Asked me questions about code languages that I did not list. Rude panelist got up and left halfway through process.

It was a bit awkward, as the other(s) have said. it was 2 people in a room, in T-shirts. And dogs. And halfway through someone interrupted the interview and asked for help from one of the interviewers. The questions are more of a critical thinking demonstration, it is not about if you can answer the questions flawlessly, they simply want you to show them you can think critically. They will train you in everything you need to do once you start- they simply want to make sure you can think critically and rationalize your processes. Of course, you should know some technical things, like how to write a query, how to access Task Manager, access the command prompt, but these are all basic.
