Applied and was given an extensive 12 question, in detail, hypothetical solutions to problem form to fill out. Subsequently, was offered an "in person interview."
At this point, I asked SPECIFICALLY what the process was at Vested Networks. I was told this first step was an INTERVIEW to "get to know you better and get a feel for your skill set."
The next thing that happened was both duplicitous and unprofessional. There was no interview. I was escorted into a conference room, having arrived early. While I waited, other people (eventually seven of them) entered the room and sat around the conference room table.
Finally, three Vested Network employees entered. One had been with the company two months. One was in sales. One was apparently an admin. She said nothing during the--I'd described it as an encounter group--as we were asked three questions and all answered them going around the table.
THIS WAS NOT AN INTERVIEW. Had it been, I'd have told the company with 27 TikTok followers, 30 YT, 191 Insta, 320 FB, and 363 LI followers how to increase those numbers. You know, actual business stuff.
If this company is more about "fit" there are VASTLY better ways to determine that. Also, BE HONEST UP FRONT. When you get SPECIFICALLY asked about the process, perhaps mention your non-interview group chat instead of wasting people's time.
Lastly, this "family" company PROMISED--they pride themselves on getting back to people, you know--that we'd hear back in two days, one way or another. That was a week ago. Also DISHONEST.
This place is amateur hour. From their Wix website, down to their ransom note social postings, to their shifting brand identity. I'd avoid.
Cue the novel-length "cope" response that usually follows criticism of this company on Glassdoor.
