The interview process is very standard, there are usually 3 rounds + a phone screening at the beginning. My experience was great as Vertical Relevance was very helpful along the way with what to expect in each round and the interviewers made sure to create a comfortable space to make a conversation in. The 3 rounds are as follows:
1. Behavioral screening: This is a very typical introductory behavioral round where they gauge your interest in the role and tell you about the program. They will also probably ask you some questions around your previous coding experience (in brief) and project experiences with other teams and coworkers.
2. Technical pairing session: This is the round where they assess your technical skills, more importantly HOW you land on a solution than the solution itself. The pattern till now has been to have 2 questions and 30 mins for each, one on a language of your choice (Python for me), and one on an IaC tool of your choice (CloudFormation for me). The task is to understand and debug the code in a pairing environment.
3. Higher management introduction: This round is an introductory conversation with the higher management at Vertical Relevance with some questions around your past experience and your expectations at Vertical Relevance.

Me postulé a través de un reclutador. Acudí a una entrevista en Vertical Relevance en oct 2023

Interview process went very smoothly. It consisted of an HR screening, easy/medium HackerRank test, 45 min interview with engineer to talk about relevant experience, 2 hour technical interview, then final interview with CEO/founder.
