      Entrevista para Content Manager

      Solicitud

Me postulé a través de un reclutador. El proceso tomó 2 meses. Acudí a una entrevista en Versalogic (Tualatin, OR) en nov 2018

      Entrevista

The phone interview was a breeze and the in-person interviews were set up soon afterwards. I met individually with three different people scheduled for 15 minutes each. The first was nice enough and let me know that management is heavily involved in all aspects of the business, with definite ideas about how they want things done. Next, I met with a product manager who asked more pointed questions, mostly about my process and how I'd rectify an email campaign that had poor results. Fair enough. I answered honestly. He also wanted to know how I'd interact with engineers and other technical people which I've done in the past. Finally, I met with a senior manager who'd be my boss. I thought we hit it off rather well and he appreciated that it wasn't so much an interview as it was a discussion. He was easy going and wore several hats. He has been with the company for about 11 years, so he knows the ins and outs. Our interview ran long, but he didn't seem to mind, even with Thanksgiving just days away. I left with the knowledge that he'd get back to me in the next few weeks regarding the next round. That never happened. I informed my recruiter who said she'd sent several emails which went unanswered. Unprofessional, to say the least. Have the decency to inform candidates (or their recruiters) on where things stand. It's just common courtesy.
