Relentlessly pursued by the recruiter, who was actually very lovely, however, I can tell there is pressure from above to constantly connect / call. Met the direct line manager, meeting was double the time scheduled but didn’t mind as thought that was a good sign they liked me. Was asked to do a project for final round and was told I would meet direct reports / vice president of sales etc to show my ideas and work, of which I put a lot of time into for the meeting. The 3 hour final round interview where I presented all my work was not with the actual decision makers, it was with peers so my efforts went largely unnoticed. At the end, the vice president (who hadn’t seen my presentation) met with me and basically surface level judged my experience. He also asked me lots of questions which were covered in my presentation which was frustrating. He then went on to tell me how the team weren’t making enough phone calls and activity and essentially bragged that he removed 7 people in the team because they weren’t good enough.
