This is definitely the worst company that I've ever interviewed with.
I applied online, and a recruiter reached out within a few days. After a quick conversation, the recruiter sent me a data challenge (no time limit). After I submitted the data challenge, he scheduled an interview for me with the VP of Quantitative Science.
The interview with the VP of Quantitative Science was the worst experience I've ever had. She was 15 minutes late to a virtual interview. She gave a lot of vibes about the toxic work environment at the company. All of her questions were scripted and didn't apply to the position that I was applying for. She showed a lot of examples for poor leadership/management skills. She is exactly the type of manager that I don't want to work with. During the interview, she yawned several times. I'm not sure if it was a sign that Verana employees were overworked and always tired, of if she was just genuinely not interested in our conversation.
Overall, I dodged a bullet and avoided a toxic work environment and a toxic manager. Don't waste your time at this company. You talent (and your mental health) will be more happy elsewhere. There is a reason why all their ratings/reviews are negative.

Multiple calls for the interview process. Call with a recruiter, then the hiring manager, followed by calls with individual team members (4), and a panel call. I have also heard others needing a coding interview.

I first had a screening interview, then an interview with a manager, and then they wanted me to take an at home test. I declined taking the at home test.
