They initially set up a phone interview with one of the directors of a division in the North East. After a phone interview checking my background and familiar skills, they requested an in person interview at the office. All in all the process was low stress but definitely challenging regarding the way the interview process was handled. Very formal, professional environment.

The first interview was phone call HR.
After a week I was called for an on-site interview.
The on-site interview was pretty simple and logical and I was asked questions that highlighted my analytical skills.

Mein Vorstellungsgespräch in Form eines Einzelgesprächs fand - egal für welchen Standort man sich beworben hat - in Hamburg statt und dauerte ca. 30 - 45 Minuten (dafür hatte ich eine An-/ Abreise von jew. 8 Std. ...). Freundliche Atmosphäre, Gespräch mit zwei Personalerinnen. Vorstellung des Unternehmens, Erläuterung der Aufgaben in der genannten Zielposition, allgemeine Informationen zum und Konditionen des Traineeprogramms. Im Verlauf des Gespräches wurde schnell klar, dass das Programm nicht zu meiner spezifischen Fachqualifikation passt - das wurde auch entsprechend zum Ausdruck gebracht. Bedauerlicherweise hätte man das meinem Lebenslauf schon entnehmen können und ich hätte mir den genommenen Urlaubstag dafür sparen können.
