Hiring process does not consider those who already work full-time, and is essentially asking candidates to provide unpaid consulting hours to generate ideas for the company. I joined several interview calls with their recruiting and sales development program team, which seemed relatively normal. After that, I was given an approximately 30-hour candidate exercise. The ask was to spend a week in their sandbox environment and then present a solution for implementation of the software with a new client. I opted out of the process at this point. If a company asks for such an extensive case study preparation, they should be prepared to compensate you for your time or be open to a reduced scope. Anything less is disrespectful to candidates who value their professional knowledge and time.
