Dodged a bullet, in short. I was informed on first call about them looking for someone who's mid to senior with option to lead a team later for X salary. I accepted and continued with process. I passed all interviews and assignment review and then I got a call from recruiter about how much they liked talking to me and an offer with 60% of agreed salary from first call and justification 'it's cause we changed our mind and decided to hire 2 x mid role.' So, they changed the terms after my interviews and assignment... I mentioned this is not what I agreed to in the beginning and asked for details on the e-mail. I got details with a statement 'this is not an official offer yet'. I declined and said I am happy to discuss different role or part-time work and got an e-mail they already filled the Senior role. This is absolutely disrespectful treatment, I spent a lot of time interviewing and company changes the terms of an offer. I won't apply here again and won't recommend it to anyone.
