The interview process was fine overall, but it left me somewhat disappointed. It consisted of several rounds of one-on-one interviews with the hiring manager and another team member, which felt somewhat unusual compared to standard processes. The hiring manager even extended an invitation to visit the site, which raised my expectations. However, I was ultimately not invited to an on-site interview. While I understand there may have been candidates who were a better fit, it would have been more considerate to communicate this decision earlier in the process. After investing significant time and effort, it feels like I should have at least been given the opportunity for an on-site interview. That said, the people I met were genuinely nice, professional, and reasonable throughout the process. They answered all my questions with detailed and thoughtful responses, which I greatly appreciated.
