Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 4 días. Acudí a una entrevista en Vanilla Networks (Kerala Estate) en ene 2024

      Entrevista

I recently went through the interview process for a software engineering position, and I must say it was a mix of both positive and negative experiences. The initial step involved an online test, which was sent promptly within 10 hours of applying. This round comprised 20 multiple-choice questions, all focused on React. The questions were fairly easy, and there was no background recording, making it a comfortable experience. Upon submitting the test, I received a quick response stating that I had passed and would be moving on to the next round. The second round, however, was a bit more challenging. It consisted of a 1.5-hour session with a mix of multiple-choice questions, coding practicals, and other topics like English grammar and aptitude. The coding part was the highlight, and I found it to be the most engaging aspect of the round. Unfortunately, there was a downside as they didn't allow code writing on platforms like CodeSandbox; instead, I had to use their portal's notepad, which was a bit inconvenient. Apart from the coding segment, the difficulty level increased significantly, with questions ranging from various JavaScript-related topics to general English grammar and aptitude. This made the overall experience more strenuous, and I felt a bit disappointed by the added complexity. Despite the challenges, the feedback and communication were timely, which is a positive aspect of the process. However, the limitations on coding platforms and the mix of non-coding topics in the second round left me with mixed feelings about the overall interview experience.
