Me postulé en línea. Acudí a una entrevista en Vanguard (Scottsdale, AZ) en feb 2017
Entrevista
applied online on a Thursday, received an email to schedule a phone interview the following day. Had my phone interview the following Monday. The phone interview lasted about 25-30 mins asked about basic financial terms. Do you know the difference of a MF and ETF, stuff like that. What do you know about the company, why do you want to work at VG. After that it was basic STAR question, about 3 questions. At the end of the interview I was invited to interview in person at their AZ office. A week later was flown out to AZ expenses paid. Onsite interview consisted of 2 parts, case study and STAR questions. Case study was not as hard as it sounds, our case study dealt with a women who needs to cash out some of her investments to place a down payment on a house. Just have to explain which investments you would liquidate first and why. Second half was basic interview questions, tell me about yourself, why do you want to work here, STAR questions were mainly based around customer service skills.
received an offer a week after the onsite interview

This process consisted of a quick phone interview, a more in-depth interview, followed by an in person interview/Q&A session. I thought the process was fantastic. Your recruiter will give you all the information you need, and they are so incredibly nice. Study for the interview. Be excited to be there. It's not super difficult but it's definitely a plus to be over prepared. Lots of behavioral questions, and then a case study. Have fun with it!

Tell me about a time when you were overwhelmed at work and how you handled it.
Submitted an application online through referral. About a week later, got contacted through email in order to schedule a phone interview. Interview was simple and lasted for about 20 to 30 minutes. Quite a few financial questions were asked like what is the difference between a stock and a bond, the difference between an ETF and a mutual fund, etc.
