Me postulé en línea. Acudí a una entrevista en Valkyrie Trading (Chicago, IL) en ene 2021
Entrevista
I was given a two-part coding assessment, each with 2 questions. Afterward, I was given a phone interview which ended quickly as they were only looking for people who would be graduating the year of the internship.

I was asked whether or not I was graduating this year.
Seems like the company doesn’t even know the process themselves. They posted a job posting and then about a month later got back to me. Turns out talking to a recruiter it was because the company wasn’t even sure what they wanted to look for in a candidate even though they decided to post the job opening. First round was a typical leetcode style. Second was a live coding interview. The lack of knowing how to interview showed in the second round as well. Prompt was unclear, conflicting answers were given, waste of time.

Two rounds of C++ online assessment focusing on design and probably code style, nothing algorithmic. They are not using Hackerrank or similar service but instead use SurveyMonkey for timing plus a Github Gist-like pastebin thing to distribute questions and template code. You have to test the code yourself.
After the online assessment, there is a brief phone interview with an HR, and a 1.5hr both technical and behavioral interview with three engineers (together!). They asked about how to improve my code from the online assessment in terms of parallelism and additional features.
Got an offer about two weeks after that. I was allowed a three-week consideration deadline by HR to finish other companies' interviews I had at the time.
