Started with an impromptu phone call after my initial application was sent. Very informal and asked if I would be willing to have a more formal phone interview. Second phone interview was very to the point about the position, and they asked quite a few deep reflecting questions about me and my experience. Offer was received after my second phone interview, no in-person interview needed.
