Final interview The first call went well, we had a nice talk about past experiences, current project, and some basic HR questions. The second call was a bit ‘unexpected’. So they said that they were looking for QA with mobile automation experience, and I have been prepared to get asked about Appium etc. But when I explained about Appium, they didn’t seem to understand what I’m talking about. By the end of the call, I came to conclusion that they actually didn’t know a thing about mobile automation and I knew that it’s not the company/team that I want to work with. It’s like we’re on really different level, so whatever you trying to explain, they won’t get it because they don’t understand. This is the part that I find a little bit ‘unsettling’. I expect to have a good discussion on the same level during the interview but I guess I hope too much. A week later, they decided not to continue the process.
