VMware came to our college for hiring freshers. My interview was in the last slot and the interviewer didn't seem like he is interested in hiring me, as if he had already made his mind about who he wanted to select.

1. He asked me what is a process and after I gave the answer, he very vaguely explained that he wants to know the process life cycle, I didn't get it the first time, but he didn't explain the second time. I gave him the answer I understood but then again he said he asked something else.

Interview took about 2 months as they are extremely unorganized. The interviews were about 6 of them. Different types of technical expertise, live coding session. The staff interviewing were a mix, some knew what they were doing some i was wondering why they are even there.

Unclear hiring process. No feedback provided. Just they reject you without telling a single word. Interviewers are hell bent and don't see like different Outlook to a problem. Whatever they have learnt they want to see that only. I was rejected after 3 rounds of good performance at interviews. Now i feel good that they rejected me because the manner in which they rejected gives a glimpse of company culture.
