I was contacted for an initial zoom screening interview. I joined and after waiting over 40 minutes for the recruiter to join, I left. I then immediately emailed the recruiter expressing that I understood if there was a scheduling mistake and that I was still interested in the role and if we could reschedule. I was basically ghosted after this and have not heard from the company since. This was extremely unprofessional and a complete waste of time. I took time to prepare for interview that I cannot get back. Please do not do this with future candidates.
