I applied for the position and the very next day I received an e-mail asking me to fill out some more information. Another day later, I get a call asking to setup a phone interview. This has been the quickest response to an applied job yet for me. I interview with an HR person, which covered basic interview topics: delved into experience-type questions, salary requirements, etc. Then asked to have a 2nd phone interview with an actuary in the office that was hiring. More or less the same type of questions but more in depth. Nonetheless, I thought it was an excellent interview. At the end of it, the guy said they would contact me within a week about further pursuing or not. A week and a half went by, and nothing. So I started to try to contact them to ask about how the process was going. Nothing. I didn't get a direct response from anyone I was trying to contact. Instead another few weeks go by and I finally receive an automated electronic response saying the position was filled, etc.
