Online interview. Concerns are that they are fairly removed from considering highly trained and qualified talent. Phone interview and in-person interview are possible but you are not guaranteed an in-person interview with the hiring manager.

Online recorded interview with no interaction from an actual interviewer. Three or four questions with time to respond. The video recorded interview process seems fabricated. It would be better to have an opportunity to interact with the direct hiring manager. I think it is much better if there were three questions made with the hiring manager via Skype or video interview if they are testing your technology skills.

Beware of company. They lead you on about getting the job offer, and then ghost you for weeks, just to deliver a generic rejection letter. No explanation. HR is highly unorganized.

Applied and few days later got email for video recorded interview, next day got offered phone interview, week later got offer to come in and meet 2 managers for in person interview in next 2 weeks

I received an invitation for an initial pre "interview" via HireVue, and found it to be a rather impersonal one-way web "conversation" without the benefit of even a static face to peer into when responding. Four interview questions are written, not verbalized so they need to be read and the candidate's answer is recorded. I find it curious a company that asserts "relationships" as one of their core cultural values uses a pre-screen which reduces it to, as HireVue promotes it, "data gathering and observing non-verbal cues while capturing the full content for analysis including context humans might miss while taking notes....the perfect partner for making data-driven talent decisions."
