      Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en United Smart Tech

      Entrevista

      First two interviews were phone interviews, one was with a recruiter and the second was with one of the owners. Up to this point everything was professional, punctual and I was given prompt updates and was eventually advanced to the third and final in-person interview. I was supposed to see the same recruiter from the first interview and the two owners. I arrived at the scheduled time and met the recruiter but the two owners were not there and I had to wait 20 to 30 minutes before the recruiter finally had to go get one of the owners to come, with the other one never showing up despite the interviewing being in their own office. No telling how long I would have been waiting if that recruiter couldn't make it. The owner who did come was the same one I spoke to in the second interview and proceeded to ask me very basic interview questions, half of which he asked me before, and after 15 minutes he abruptly ends the interview without opening the floor to questions nor telling me when I would hear anything back and just rushed me out the door. The interview was literally shorter than the length of time they were late by. This was a final round interview yet I never heard anything back, not even a rejection. If you are seeking a job with United Smart Tech then the question to ask yourself is this: If they can't even treat a job seeker with respect or professionalism throughout 3 1-hour interviews, do you honestly believe they will be any different for the hundreds of hours a year you would work for them as an employee? Looking at the reviews left by their technicians, who are the bread and butter of their company, seems to answer that question.

      I’d like to respond to this review because I remember it and you so distinctly. It is never our intention to have a candidate wait any length of time for an interview, but sometimes in business, operational demands may interfere with the best of intentions and normal processes. Such is the nature of a fast paced contemporary business. Extenuating circumstances on that particular day caused interruption of our usual process. We respect each of our candidates, as well as their time and aim to provide a very positive recruiting, hiring and employment experience. We regret we did not meet your expectations on that day. As far as your comment of no communication, I responded to your inquiry on June 24, letting you know that shifting business priorities had put forward movement for this position on temporary hold. I never heard back from you. As you advance in your recruitment career, you will become acutely aware of how often the recruiting process may become impeded by various forces, some of which may be beyond our control. I do recognize how frustrating that can be for candidates. No other communication was made because we have not yet filled this position, thus, your application was still under consideration. It is common knowledge in these times, that sometimes filling a professional position can take far more time than anyone would like. We regret that instead of continued direct communication with us to discuss your experience or check on the status of your application, you chose instead to leave a negative review. However, we do consider all feedback as opportunities to improve, so thank you for sharing your experience. We sincerely wish you the best of luck in the future.
