Very rude and not pleasant. Didn’t give feedback. Reflective of company culture. Easy question bad attitude. Not much to say. Don’t interview here. United is known for being a bad culture
Had my interview for the Network Planning Analyst role at the airline yesterday, and honestly, it was a solid experience. The panel was friendly, which made it less nerve-wracking than I expected. They kicked things off with some icebreaker questions about my favorite travel destinations (classic airline vibe).
The technical part was interesting—they really wanted to know how I approach analyzing routes and optimizing schedules. A lot of ‘what would you do if’ scenarios came up, which felt more like problem-solving puzzles than an interrogation.
They also asked a bit about industry trends and my take on how airlines can stay competitive in changing markets. Luckily, I’d done my homework, so I had a few stats and ideas ready to go.
Overall, it felt like a genuine conversation. Definitely came out of it feeling like they value creativity and strategy, not just crunching numbers. Fingers crossed!
Me postulé a través de una recomendación de un empleado. El proceso tomó 4 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en United Airlines en sep 2021
Entrevista
2 hour case study which was not enough time unless you're very quick in Excel. It wasn't a great evaluation of your skills. After about a month, I received my rejection.
