Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 1 semana. Acudí a una entrevista en Uline (Ontario, CA) en oct 2024

I applied online and got an email to schedule an interview through an online scheduling system for which there was only one date/time available. The confirmation email showed the appointment as a "Customer Service Job Interview Event" and made it clear that it was a group setting which would include timed assessments.
At the location the building directed me to "job fair" parking, I was early so I had to wait outside a bit. A corner of the warehouse was set up with around a dozen or more folding tables with chairs on each side opposite each other. Set up like a standardized testing environment. The tests were simple number matching and pattern matching, timed, 4mins fly by quickly. After the group tests a recruiter sat opposite us for a brief individual interview, 2 tables at a time, out among everyone. Easy interview questions, very short, 5mins or less where they wrote stuff down, I asked a few questions then we were free to go. All only took about an hour or so.
Rejection letter came about a week later.
The whole process felt a bit impersonal, they made it clear they get hundreds of applications a day so it was necessary to do some portions in groups. I definitely felt they relied more heavily on our performance on the tests rather than the interview portion.

What did you like most about your previous job?
What do you know about Uline?
Take a numbers test then you speak with HR the questions are very basic and experience doesn’t matter I worked in customer service for 19 years I was told the candidates have to fit in with the “culture” honestly I don’t believe u would have fit in with their “culture” I had too many questions about negative reviews I read online
was really weird and everyone was acting super fake. i would say if you're trying to get someone hired, at least try to not make it known LOL. I mean come on

The interview process itself was straightforward and professional. What disappointed me was the lack of follow-up communication after being told I would be updated on next steps. Instead, I had to check my application status on the Uline website, where it changed from green to red, indicating I was no longer being considered.
