All the job seekers were seated at individual tables, given a packet of papers, and told not to open them until instructed. The packet contained two number tests (matching and recognizing patterns), which unto themselves were not hard except for the fact that they were timed and there were so many numbers that there's no way a typical person other than a certified genius could complete them all in the 4 minutes allowed. This set a very disappointing tone right from the beginning. People were then called individually to stand off to the side and be questioned by an interviewer one-on-one. These interviews were in earshot of the other candidates waiting, which seemed unprofessional since there was no privacy. Everyone was only asked 3 questions, which seemed strange. 5 days later I got an impersonal rejection email. I expected this to happen, despite that I am an experienced carded forklift operator. It seems this is a common experience. Other reviewers state that they suspect Uline conducts these mass interviews as a sham simply to train the people doing the interviews, with no real intention to actually hire anyone new, since they have job postings available all the time yet nobody seems to actually get hired. Don't be surprised if you get rejected even if you're highly qualified. This was a very strange interview.
