Entrevista
I contacted on LinkedIn the manager of Ubisoft Osaka after he announced the studio was looking for Game Designers. After sending him my resume on his request, I got a Skype interview the same week with a Game Designer, a Programmer and a Producer. We spoke, in English and Japanese, about my past experiences and aspirations.
One week later, I got a second interview, with the manager himself. The interview went smoothly, and we talked about the studio and its projects. However, I was not offered a position at this time because of my lack of ability in Japanese (JLPT 3 minimum), without excluding any future opportunity if I improve this weakness.
Horrible HR, sent me a google calendar invite without even contacting me before hand. During the meeting they were moving around the studio, losing connection, and I could hardly hear their voice. They don't respect the people they are interested in.
For a first interview with a HR person, it became a technical interview right away and they obviously didn't know what they were talking about but asking additional questions, without having a real understanding of what we were talking about.

Technical questions, many of them, during the first HR interview
It was a brief chat to understand my level of game design and perception. We had a simple discussion on soft and hard currency. It was relatively a fun discussion overall

What type of soft currency was used in your previous game?

it was slow, but easy in every aspect, don't be scared of their questions. Everyone who interviews is great at what they do. The recruiters are very slow at getting back to you.
