Very straightforward questions, testing basic design experience but mostly probing my attitude and work habits/style. What games have I worked on, what went well or badly about those projects, etc. I explained a bit about past projects from a tools and workflow perspective, and talked about what aspects of my work I had most enjoyed or was most proud of on those projects. It felt like they were testing me mostly as a "culture-fit" rather than inquiring as to my design knowledge, which I think was okay for the reasonably generic role they were hiring me for. They wanted to know if I was right for their team, more than they wanted to know if I was an especially clever or talented designer.
