I was contacted about a position as a Salesforce (SFDC) lead. I explained to my recruiter that I only had 1 year of experience in SFDC, yet many years of experience with similar technologies. I was told this was not a problem. I was to be the only SFDC developer in the company. I completed a phone interview, in which I again disclosed my minimal experience in SFDC. I was called in for a face to face interview. Yet again, I explained my experience level. I was told by the "vp" (?) that took part in my interview, that they were interested in sending me to SFDC training. I told them I was very interested in that opportunity.
Five hours after the interview, they called the recruiter and expressed disinterest due to my lack of experience.
Thanks... You guys could have saved us all a lot of time if you had listened in the first place. Reading these other reviews makes me realize what a train wreck of a career mistake I have avoided. Almost two years later and this interview experience still sticks with me as the worst in my career.
