I applied 2/25/2015 for a Relief position. It was a little slow moving and it felt like they weren't prepared for the screening in our rural area (wanted me to test in a location almost 4 hours away and then wanted me to complete the drug screening almost 2 hours away). After those wrinkles were worked out it was mid March. I interviewed with the PMO 3/24/15. During the tour of the facility she was asked by another carrier if she was hiring me?! "Yes". I was thrilled and excited. She then took me back to her office and congratulated me, telling me to watch my email as I would be getting several emails....4/2/15 and STILL NO EMAILS. My status has changed to pre-hire list but, I guess I should be patient since she said it would be at least another 3 weeks before I could get going. Here's hoping!!!!
UPDATE 4/6 My status changed to Offer Phase (EXT) and I received several emails one offering me the position; a conditional offer and another asking me to accept the offer and complete my W4 online. SO EXCITED!!!

No interview. Received an email with a job offer and orientation was scheduled a few weeks later. Called the postmaster on the job listing to get more information in between the offer and orientation.

No questions were asked as there was not an interview process.
Not really an interview. If you pass the background check you have the job. The United States Postal Service does not require a traditional interview. Very easy. I love it here.

There was no interview. I pretty much just took a test and they sent me back a conditional offer. When I got to my orientation with 3 other people they all had the same experience.
