Before I got an interview, I had to go take an exam for the USPS and I scored 80. You have to score atleast 70 to be considered a candidate. A week or two later, I got a phone call that I missed one evening, called them back first thing the next morning because the post master was gone for the day. We set up an interview for the same day. Drove almost an hour away and waited for my interview. Started off on a bad foot due to poor communication, but once I met the post master, the interview consisted of him telling me the job criteria. He was filling in an RCA spot for a lady who was promoted and it was a one day out of a week kind of deal unless anyone calls off sick. I was confident, but hesitant on the position because I still have a full time job I am working at until we close down and I knew I couldn't live off of a one day job. However if anyone doesn't know, You have to start off as an RCA or CCA for a year or more to advance into becoming a full time carrier. The postmaster told me to think this position through and that he would make his decision on in 2 days after he interviews two more people. I think he saw my hesitance so he hired the next person I knew.

Very straightforward and there was a video to watch regarding the company. Was asked questions regarding customer service and asked what questions did I have. It was in a group setting
