Set up online application, took me approximately two hours to finish it . Then I went to USPS website to apply. It's easy, fast and you'll receive a confirmation email for every position you're applying. You need to pass online test and also the one in testing site nearest your place. I passed both and waited for few months before I was interviewed last November. I got an offer for 3 months probationary with a chance to be permanent depending on performance, third week of December via email. HR set me for orientation third week of January.

Long process . Apply online, personality test, if you pass that then you are emailed to take the computerized test. My score was 86.20 and right afterwards I was emailed to take drug test and background check . 3 weeks later was invited via email for interview . Interview was about 50 ppl and you are interviewed by your score (highest to lowest). My interview went well and the postmaster strongly recommended me . Next morning I received job offer via email to accept or decline

Me postulé en línea. El proceso tomó 3 semanas. Acudí a una entrevista en US Postal Service (New York, NY) en oct 2014

Took about 2 weeks to get an interview and I'm now in the process of doing a background check and a drug test. It was a lengthy interview session, started from 8am and ended (for me) around 12pm. When they said it may take 4-8hrs to be completed, they weren't joking. First they spend about 2hours going over the duties of the position, what is expected, you get the chance to correct your online app and then sign them. It was about 16 of us and they call you 2 by 2 in another room for the official interview which lasted about another half hour. After you sit with the interviewer you sit with a supervisor to convince her why they should hire you.
