The interview process overall was good. I had 3-4 interviews with employees including the CEO of the company. Everyone I met with was very nice, relatable and upfront with their opinions on the company.
I was offered the position with my highest requested salary, however, the benefits package offered, lack of PTO, extended work days, expectations to work on the weekends and no maternity leave led me to decline the position at the company. I decided to stay with my current company with a much lower salary, but with much more flexibility, full paid maternity leave, and better PTO.
Recently my mother passed away and my current company banded together while I was caring for her in hospice to donate their vacation time to me so I did not have to use even 1 of my own vacation days. I was out for an entire month caring for her before she passed away. Based upon by experience and information gathered during the interview process at US HealthConnect, I don't think I would've had the same response had I taken the job offered to me last fall.
When I declined the offer I did not hear back from the HR rep which I found odd.
