This was a rare experience with government job hiring process. Surprisingly, it was fast for me to get hired on after being referred to the hiring manager to complete the next steps in the interviewing/hiring process. I was very nervous in the interview because it was my first government job interview experience but eventually I was able to calm down and answer the questions. The questions are challenging in that they are designed to understand the true personality of the individual being interviewed. There are many scenario questions asked but I was able to answer appropriately. Taking notes during the interview also impressed the hiring manger because he was able to see that I am able to take dictations and follow through accordingly.
