The hiring and interview part is easy, you just contact an U.S. Air Force Recruiter and sign a contract once you pass the physical exam and meet other requirements. The most important thing to have before you sign that contract and raise your hand for the oath of enlistment, is a “job reservation” (in writing) as a “Cyber Systems Operator” that assures your job. This means that the U.S. Air Force will train you and assign you to Cyber Systems units unless you fail the Cyber technical school(s).

Your recruiter has a series of questions he/she will ask you. Everything from school, hobbies, to known friends of criminal records. You will have to take the ASVAB test which will limit you to what jobs you may apply for.

Get a decent score on the ASVAB and pass a physical and a background check, and you're in. Select what you'd like to do, based on what your ASVAB score qualifies you for, and then apply for a date to leave for Basic Training. A lot of paperwork is involved, but there's nothing in the interview process to be concerned about.
