The interview was different than expected. The manager was approaching retirement and seemed to vent about his work stress. He explained the position expectations. It seemed like it was up to me to accept and not a question of whether they were going to hire me or not

Got a call day after applying. Went to interview and was told I was the most qualified and needed to keep an eye for emails from hr. I proceeded to fill out/sign 13 different forms. I will mention I live in illinois and the background check laws are very specific and restrictive on when and how you may conduct & use a BG check when hiring. NONE of the forms were an offer letter which must be done b4 a check. Also a pre adverse action & adverse action letters are required with the 5 day period im to be given to address any errors or issues on my bg check before a decision can be made to use it to determine my employment status. I recieved NONE of those things. I AM filing a violation of my civil rights under IL law and I am not the only one. Do not work for them. The total disregard for the employment laws shows they do not treat their employees right. There's TONS of class action suits settled and ongoing to prove it.
