Had a lengthy conversation with the recruiter that initiated connection to see whether to would put me forward for the role, which they did. They scheduled an interview. During the interview I didn’t get the best impression as the interviewer did not really seem all too interested. Just seemed methodical but I gave it my best despite this. I was told they would get back to me within a week to see whether to progress things forward. They never did. They ghosted me. Luckily I found a better role elsewhere. They lacked the common courtesy of emailing to say I was not going to be progressed to the next stage of the interview. If something as basic as this couldn’t be done then I truly wonder how they run the company. Glad I didn’t get the role.
