I was contacted via email and asked to participate in a phone interview (1-hour duration). About a week after the phone interview, I was asked to complete a written test (1-hour duration), they reached out to my references, and I never heard back on the results from the hiring process. Followed up twice with multiple contact points (after an appropriate window of time), and never received a response. If you are interviewing candidates and requiring they take time out of their life to produce a written sample, the least that can be done is updating someone on their status and/or sending a rejection to the candidates who were not selected (could not have been more than 10 individuals).
