The Pros: The team I met during the on-site tour seemed friendly, and the office environment was impressive. The initial communication was prompt and professional. The Cons: The interview process requires a massive time commitment that was ultimately not respected. I was asked to complete a take-home assignment that took 3.5 days of intensive work. After presenting this to the team and being given a full office tour, I was promised a decision within 5 days "no matter what." It has now been 5 weeks. Despite multiple polite follow-ups, the company has completely ghosted. It is disappointing to see a company solicit 28+ hours of free strategic work from a finalist and then fail to provide a simple status update. Advice to Management: Respect the candidate’s time as much as you expect them to respect yours. If you require multi-day assignments, you must commit to providing feedback or at least a final "yes/no" decision. Ghosting finalists after an office tour is a poor reflection of company culture and employer branding.
