The phone interview went well, they were very nice and made me feel comfortable. I phone interviewed for 2 similar positions. They definitely take a long time to get back to you one way or the other, over a month, even if you send them a thank you then a follow up email. Being a referral of an internal employee, I did not expect to land the job or receive any special treatment but I was more than qualified for the positions I applied to, was excited at the possibility of joining such a wonderful company (according to several awards they won in several categories for being a great place to work) but felt very slighted by them which left a bad taste in my mouth. I was told I would be contacted if another position like the one I applied for came up again which did and I wasn't. I applied for it but was not contacted about it. I really feel like it had to do with my follow up with the recruiter and hiring manager regarding the 2nd one i applied for where I stated I would have taken the offered salary because I was such a fan of the company and really wanted to work there. They must not like someone who is so forward and really gives there all to obtain a position. If anything, I feel like that's a great quality and shows that I would be a superb employee but to each his own.
