I went for there for Saturday drive and they conducted only L2 for me. I had already given 1 technical interview before attending walk in. While wrapping up in the evening HR told us that L2 feedback for 4 of us is positive and remaining rounds will be conducted virtual but none of the next rounds were conducted

It was a drive at the Noida office on a Saturday. HR who scheduled my interview was not available. I reached on time at 10:00 AM. But, when I saw that those who came after me have got interviewed before me, I had to ask the HR on duty only to find that she isn't aware of my candidature. Wasted 2:30 hours. Then, at 12:30 I went in, A senior principal engineer, a so called overnight self made AI/ML expert took my interview. Position was for Java. I have extensive experience in Data Engineering and Data Science as well. He asked me questions from these fields for an hour. Then, he asked another question where there is API which is hitting db issues with its query while other queries are working fine. How to debug? Then another was a document parser design which I designed with Kafka. But, I think he was lost king more bookish answers. Yes, you can tell those types of interviewers. To support me, the guy asked me difference between regression algorithm and random forest like random forest can't do regression. In short, at UKG , it totally depends upon your luck on that day. TBH, I have had worse interviewers as well. One even asked me - compatible feature in Java , then I realized it was completable future. Only issue, we are on the wrong side of the table.

There were 3 technical rounds followed by a HR face to face round. First 3 rounds were conducted virtually. The interview was for position of Java Principal Software Engineer. More or less same as that of Java backend engineer
